Since A.S. Winter can remember, writing and art has always been a passion. It all started with writing a story in the first grade and her teacher said she is good at creating stories.. At the time, the school had an in house mailing system. When she moved onto second grade, she continued writing stories to her first grade teacher.
She loves to write children’s stories with teachable life lessons and morals. A lot of her inspiration now comes from her three imaginative children.
A.S. Winter attended The Art Institute and was studying TV & Film. She took many classes that concentrated on storyboarding, scriptwriting, conceptual storytelling and art. She finished her degree at Northeastern University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in English. Her background and education has helped her approach to writing and illustrating.
She lives in Florida and enjoys reading, drawing, painting, and creating fashion illustrations in her free time. She loves going to the library with her kids and going to Disney with her family. She is currently writing and illustrating her first picture book series.
